The Women's Fund, an affiliate fund of Wayne County Community Foundation, is accepting grant applications from nonprofit agencies whose work enables women in Wayne County, Ohio, to change their lives for the better.

The WCCF Board of Trustees met in May and approved grant awards for the 2014 Spring competitive grant cycle.

The WCCF is pleased to announce the first grant awards from the Wayne County Community Youth Foundation Fund.

The Wayne County Community Youth Foundation is currently accepting applications for student advisors for the 2014-15 school year.

The WCCF has received a $100,000 challenge grant from The J.M. Smucker Company to establish the Women’s Fund.

For Wooster area elementary school educators, the Albert “Koby” Kobilarcik Educational Fund has funds available to provide library materials and literacy teaching aids to elementary level, public and private schools within the city limits of Wooster, Ohio and/or the service area of the Wooster City School District.

The Wayne County Community Youth Foundation is now accepting applications for grants that benefit youth in the greater Wayne County, Ohio area.

The WCCF's 35th birthday party and annual dinner were held on October 9, 2013 at the Arden Shisler Conference Center in Wooster.

The WCCF is pleased to announce the “Friend of Philanthropy Award” will be awarded for the first time in 2013. Nominations are due to the WCCF office by Noon on August 15, 2013.

The WCCF recently awarded over $400,000 in scholarships, for the upcoming 2013-2014 school year, to 115 high school seniors, 16 college students and 47 renewal scholarship recipients who are currently attending college.
