Taxpayers who don't itemize deductions may take a charitable deduction of up to $300 for cash contributions made in 2020 to qualifying organizations.

WCCF Board of Trustees approved grant awards to 18 organizations totaling $305,691 for the Spring 2020 competitive grant cycle.

To date, WCCF has awarded nine grants totaling $47,780 to support local non-profit organizations on the front line of COVID-19 response efforts through the Wayne County Emergency Response Fund.

The 33 student advisors that participated in the Wayne County Community Youth Foundation during 2019-2020 were scheduled to graduate on May 3, 2020. However, due to the coronavirus, an in-person event was not possible. Instead, a video has been compiled that can be viewed on the Wayne County Community Youth Foundation page.

WCCF in conjunction with local private foundations, has established and provided initial funding for a new fund to support local non-profit organizations on the front line of COVID-19 response efforts.
