Apply for Scholarships
Wayne County Community Foundation offers scholarship opportunities for graduating high school seniors, continuing college students and non-traditional students. Because they are created and designed by individual donors, our scholarships have varying eligibility and selection criteria. No two scholarships are the same.
You can apply for scholarships between December 15 and March 15* each year through our Online Scholarship Portal. By completing one application form, you will be considered for all opportunities for which you are eligible! During the process, you may be prompted to answer supplemental questions, write an additional essay, or request a letter of recommendation for even more scholarship opportunities.
The online application should be filled out as completely and thoroughly as possible. Missing or incomplete information may disqualify you from a scholarship opportunity.

CORPORATE SCHOLARSHIPS
Wayne County Community Foundation manages the scholarship process for several of our Corporate Partners. If you or a family member work for any of the companies shown below, click on their logo to create an account, view eligibility requirements, and apply.
Traditional Scholarship
Non-Traditional Scholarship
Scholarships through WCCF may be used for tuition and fees (not including room and board) required for enrollment or attendance at the educational institution. Fees, books, supplies and equipment directly required for courses of instruction are eligible if they can be purchased directly from the school. If the scholarship is used for any other expense, the IRS considers it taxable income for the student.
Note: If you are a recipient of a scholarship through the Wayne County Community Foundation, all monetary awards will be made payable to your account at the post-secondary school you will be or are attending. Unless otherwise stated, checks will be issued in July, prior to the new school year. No checks will be awarded directly to any individuals.
