The Wayne County Community Foundation (WCCF) Board of Trustees met in May and approved grant awards for the Spring competitive grant cycle. Sixteen organizations were awarded grants totaling $114,870.38 from some of the Foundation’s named community and field of interest funds.

GIVE 365 Wayne County is accepting grant applications from area nonprofits. This year's theme is "Mental Health and Wellness of Wayne County Youth". Application deadline is March 1, 2019.

Wayne County Community Youth Foundation wrapped up its fifth year in May with the graduation of 42 students representing 10 area high schools.
